The name “Ziply Fiber” is new to the ISP world, but its roots run deep. In May 2020, Ziply Fiber acquired Frontier Communications’ Northwest operations and assets. Ziply is a subsidiary of WaveDivision Capital and serves over 500,000 customers in the Pacific Northwest region. At approximately 1,000 employees, they are a small company with the mission to provide reliable fiber-optic speeds without the gimmicks. Their simple plans, no contracts, and affordable prices do just that. Ziply is expanding and plans on investing $500 million to bring fiber internet to at least 85% of its market which mainly consists of rural communities.
